Moelis & Company has appointed Greg Guest Managing Director in New York, where he will join the firm’s Private Capital Advisory Group and lead its promoted capital solutions activities.
Guest will advise private fund managers and independent sponsors on raising promoted private capital for pre-identified new platform and add-on acquisitions, expanding Moelis’ capabilities across primary fundraising, promoted co-investments and secondary transactions.
Guest brings more than 25 years of experience working with financial sponsors and private fund managers.
He joins Moelis from Capital One, where he served as Head of Capital Solutions and advised private equity firms and their portfolio companies. Before Capital One, Guest spent more than two decades at KKR and Citigroup, serving as a Managing Director at both firms.
His appointment expands Moelis’ private capital advisory platform as sponsors increasingly use transaction-specific capital structures and promoted co-investments to finance acquisitions and new platforms.
