Monroe Capital Leads $60 Million Term Loan For Equipment Finance Platform 36th Street Capital

Monroe Capital has led a $60 million Class B Term Loan for 36th Street Capital, providing additional financing to support the specialty equipment finance company’s origination growth and platform expansion.

Based in Morristown, New Jersey, 36th Street Capital provides structured leases and loans to large and mid-sized businesses across the U.S.

The company focuses on financing essential-use equipment, including assets customers depend on for their day-to-day operations. Its portfolio spans manufacturing, technology, healthcare, construction, and food and beverage businesses.

The investment broadens 36th Street Capital’s access to institutional financing as the company continues growing originations.

Monroe’s equipment finance team was led on the transaction by Aaron Levy and Chris Spanel.

The team provides debt, forward flow and equity capital to equipment finance platforms spanning small-, middle- and large-ticket leasing markets.

For 36th Street Capital, Monroe adds a financing partner with experience across asset-backed lending and equipment leasing.
