Monticello Associates Names Ralph Blasey Director Of Institutional Consulting

Monticello Associates has appointed Ralph Blasey as Director, Institutional Consulting, in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

Blasey brings more than a decade of institutional investment advisory and economic consulting experience and will focus on developing customized investment strategies for Monticello clients.

Before joining Monticello, Blasey served as a Senior Investment Director at Cambridge Associates, where he advised colleges, universities and foundations on portfolios spanning public equities, venture capital, growth equity, buyouts, hedge funds and fixed income.

Earlier, he worked at Cornerstone Research on security price research, econometric analysis and valuation assignments connected to commercial litigation and regulatory matters.

Blasey earned an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.

Monticello advises on approximately $132 billion of assets under advisement as of December 31, 2025. The firm formed a strategic partnership with Cresset in 2025, and Cresset and affiliated advisory businesses reported more than $264 billion in combined assets under management and advisement as of July 1, 2026.
