Moonfare, a global private markets investment platform, announced the appointment of Alice Avenel as head of France and Benelux. Based in Paris, Avenel will be responsible for accelerating Moonfare’s growth among private investors, family offices, and distribution partners across the region.
The appointment supports Moonfare’s broader European expansion strategy and its goal of making curated private markets opportunities more accessible to sophisticated investors. The company provides access to institutional-grade funds and direct deals through its digital investment platform.
In her role, Avenel will lead the regional go-to-market strategy in coordination with Moonfare’s marketing and product teams. She will also work to strengthen the company’s presence at industry events while expanding relationships with private investors and distribution partners in France and the Benelux markets.
Avenel brings more than eight years of experience in private equity, venture capital, and international development. Before joining Moonfare, she served as director of international investor relations at Audacia, where she led the firm’s commercial strategy and developed relationships with family offices and institutional investors across France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
Earlier in her career, she worked at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in London and later at Kepler Partners, focusing on distribution and investor relations. She also founded and developed a consumer brand in London before overseeing its sale.
Moonfare said France and the Benelux region represent some of its fastest-growing markets, with assets under management in the region increasing by more than 30 percent last year. The company has also seen its client base expand by more than 20 percent over the same period.
Founded in Berlin, Moonfare provides eligible individual investors and family offices access to institutional-quality private market opportunities with lower minimum investment thresholds. The company has more than 5,500 investors globally and manages €3.8 billion in assets as of the fourth quarter of 2025, with offices in New York, London, Zürich, Singapore, Paris, and Luxembourg.
