“The idea for Moonshot AI came from a shared frustration between me and my co-founder, Evyatar. I experienced firsthand the pain of optimizing my own eCommerce website, slow experiments, reliance on multiple teams, and limited results. Around the same time, Evyatar, one of the first employees at Via, was facing similar challenges optimizing complex digital experiences.”

“Yes, like any early-stage company, we’ve faced a few. Hiring the right people across R&D, GTM, and Customer Success is always a challenge, and fundraising is never easy. That said, our recent round was eventually oversubscribed, and we were fortunate to find amazing partners in Mighty Capital, Oceans Ventures, Garuda Ventures, Uncorrelated, and Almaz Capital.”

“Fundraising is always something founders dislike, but overcoming it has allowed us to return to what we love most: being heads down building and scaling Moonshot AI, improving our product, and driving real impact for clients.”

How will the company’s technology evolve in the future? Frenkel predicts:

“Today, Moonshot AI focuses on optimizing digital experiences, helping websites and eCommerce platforms evolve automatically to drive conversions and revenue. In the future, our vision is to become the AI brain that optimizes the entire business, not just the website.”

“We’re keeping the specifics under wraps for now, but there’s much more to come as we continue building toward that ambitious vision.”

The $10M Discovery Funding announcement is a significant milestone, can you share more on what this means for the company? Frenkel emphasized:

“Closing our $10M Discovery round is a major milestone for Moonshot AI. On a personal level, it’s especially meaningful because I’ve always admired business owners. My grandparents came to Israel after the second world war with nothing and opened a grocery store to provide for their family and rebuild from the ashes of the Holocaust.”

“That admiration inspired Moonshot: we want to help the businesses that are the backbone of our economy and society thrive. This funding gives us the resources to accelerate product development, scale our team, expand adoption, and deliver measurable impact for our clients, while staying true to that mission.”

Customer Success Stories

Can you share any specific customer success stories? Frenkel detailed:

“Absolutely! Here are two examples that highlight the impact of Moonshot AI:

Bold Footwear – +14.5% Revenue per Visitor. The challenge: This footwear brand was experiencing strong traffic to product pages, but the click-through rate to ‘Add to Cart’ was unusually low on mobile devices. What Moonshot did: Our AI identified that the Add to Cart button wasn’t visually noticeable. We launched a test that added an animation effect to the CTA and relocated the chat bubble to reduce visual clutter. The result: These subtle but effective changes led to a 13.8% increase in Average Order Value and a 14.5% uplift in Revenue per Visitor.

HYOU Jewelry – +57% Revenue per Visitor. The challenge: Visitors were browsing the site but often struggled to navigate the mobile menu, leading to drop-offs before reaching key product pages. What Moonshot did: We hypothesized that a cleaner, more intuitive mobile navigation would help users explore more comfortably and reach product listings faster. Moonshot launched a test that reorganized the hamburger menu to simplify categories and improve flow. The result: The streamlined navigation drove a 57% increase in Revenue per Visitor, showing how clarity and ease of navigation can directly boost conversions.

These cases demonstrate how Moonshot AI can autonomously identify issues, test solutions, and implement changes that significantly increase revenue and improve user experience.”

While the platform was built to solve the founders’ specific problems, many other companies have seen the benefits. The retail conglomerate Yáneken saw a 30% lift in revenue in the first three months of implementing Moonshot AI, resulting in millions of dollars in revenue gain. What are some of the company’s future company goals? Frenkel highlighted:

“Looking further ahead, we have ambitious product and growth goals, from making our AI even smarter at identifying conversion opportunities to expanding beyond eCommerce into optimizing entire digital products and experiences.
