Morgan Lewis established a 12-member EMEA Leadership Council to advance regional strategy, strengthen cross-border collaboration, and support clients operating across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and other international markets.
The council will be led by partner Ayman Khaleq, who also co-leads the firm’s Middle East practice.
The group will work with Firm Chair David McManus and a 23-member EMEA Steering Committee.
Its responsibilities will include coordinating regional priorities, sharing market intelligence, strengthening connections among offices and practices, and supporting clients navigating regulatory, commercial, and geopolitical complexity.
Morgan Lewis said the council reflects the growing importance of cross-border matters and interconnected client needs across the region.
The firm expects the council to help identify opportunities, anticipate legal and regulatory trends, and mobilize teams across practices and jurisdictions.
The 12 members include lawyers based across Dubai, New York, Los Angeles, London, Brussels, Munich, Frankfurt, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Hong Kong, Beijing, Tokyo, and other markets.
Members include Ayman Khaleq, Nick Bolter, Tim Corbett, Florian Harder, Sara Koleilat-Aranjo, Edwin Luk, Bill Nash, Sidanth Rajagopal, Louise Skinner, Alishia Sullivan, Carol Tsuchida, and David Waldron.
