Morrison Foerster Adds Mike Pierides, Will Holder, And Oliver Bell To Expand Technology Transactions And Tech M&A Capabilities

Morrison Foerster announced the addition of partners Mike Pierides, Will Holder, and Oliver Bell as the firm expands its global technology transactions and technology-focused M&A platform.

The three additions collectively bring more than 55 years of experience across technology transactions, outsourcing, tech-focused M&A, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and complex commercial matters.

Pierides joins the firm with a practice focused on technology and commercial transactions, including outsourcing, data privacy and cybersecurity, strategic restructurings, GPU-as-a-service agreements, licensing arrangements, and technology-as-a-service mandates. He advises clients across AI, data centers, fintech, aviation, telecommunications, and financial services sectors.

Holder joins Morrison Foerster with a technology and media-focused M&A practice spanning public and private mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, and corporate matters. His client work includes transactions across technology, music, sports, media, fintech, and consumer sectors.

Bell will join the firm in the coming weeks with a practice centered on technology-led transactions, large-scale IT outsourcing agreements, data center mandates, technology-related M&A, and cybersecurity matters. His experience spans technology, financial services, aviation, automotive, retail, leisure, and public sector clients.

Morrison Foerster said the hires strengthen its cross-border technology transactions and AI-related legal capabilities while expanding the firm’s London office growth strategy.

The appointments represent the eighth, ninth, and tenth partner additions in the firm’s London office over the past 12 months.

The firm stated that the hires align with continued client demand across AI, fintech, data centers, technology infrastructure, and digital transformation transactions globally.
