MOSH announced it raised $13 million in a Series A financing round led by Main Street Advisors to support national grocery expansion, new product launches, and continued growth of its brain health nutrition platform. The round included participation from Great Circle Ventures, Rogers Healy and Morrison Seger, PCG, and Tonic Ventures. The company said the financing will support an upcoming nationwide Target rollout, expansion across national grocery retailers, and launch of MOSH High Protein, a new protein bar featuring 20 grams of protein, creatine, and the company’s MOSH Signature Brain Blend.

MOSH was co-founded by Maria Shriver and Patrick Schwarzenegger and focuses on brain health-focused functional nutrition products. The company said it has expanded to more than 2,000 retail locations in the United States and expects its retail business to triple in 2026 as it increases distribution across national retailers.

The company’s products combine protein nutrition with ingredients intended to support cognitive health, including Cognizin Citicoline, lion’s mane, ashwagandha, omega-3s, and vitamins B12 and D3. MOSH said its bars are the first protein bars to include Cognizin Citicoline, which has been clinically studied for focus, attention, and memory support.

MOSH said proceeds from the Series A financing will support four strategic priorities: national grocery expansion, new product development, research initiatives supporting brain health, and operational scaling across marketing, sales, and supply chain infrastructure.

The company also said it plans to fund a third research grant in 2026 focused on gut biomarkers associated with cognitive decline and Alzheimer’s disease as part of its partnership with the Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement at Cleveland Clinic.

MOSH products are currently available through retailers including Sprouts Farmers Market, Albertsons, Kroger, HEB, and Target, which is scheduled to begin carrying the brand in May 2026.

KEY QUOTES:

“When I co-founded MOSH, my hope was simple. I want to give people something delicious and genuinely nourishing that inspires them to take care of their brain, not just for today, but for the future. Every three seconds, someone in the world develops Alzheimer’s dementia, and two out of three of them are women. With every MOSH bar sold, we direct a portion of proceeds to fund Alzheimer’s research and women’s brain health, having raised more than $400,000 and funded three research grants to date. This is a recognition that millions of people are hungry for nutrition that supports brain health, and that MOSH is leading the way.”

Maria Shriver, Co-Founder, MOSH

“Our generation is rethinking what it means to take care of ourselves. You build the habits now that carry you forward. This Series A round puts MOSH on shelves at scale across national grocery stores and delivers category-first innovation like MOSH High Protein.”

Patrick Schwarzenegger, Co-Founder, MOSH

“Scaling a consumer brand is fundamentally an execution story. Over the last two years, we’ve built out the team, the supply chain, and the playbook to vault MOSH from breakout brand to a category-defining, durably profitable business.”

Jeff Gamsey, President, MOSH

“It’s not often you see a brand carve out real white space in a category as crowded as nutrition, but MOSH has done that while building a brand people genuinely love. Maria and Patrick are tapping into a major shift in how people think about brain health, and we’re proud to partner with them as they continue to grow.”
