Motorola Solutions announced it has acquired Exacom, a Manchester, New Hampshire-based provider of cloud-native voice and multimedia recording and logging solutions for mission-critical communications. The acquisition expands Motorola Solutions’ capabilities in consolidating and analyzing critical communications data used by public safety agencies and other sectors.

Exacom’s technology enables organizations to consolidate call logs and record 911 audio and radio traffic directly into cloud-based or on-premise storage systems. The platform helps agencies create a unified timeline of incidents by capturing and storing communications data from multiple sources in a single environment.

The company’s logging recorders integrate with more than 85 existing radio, 911 call handling, computer-aided dispatch (CAD), and enterprise voice systems. This broad interoperability enables agencies to capture comprehensive records of emergency communications across multiple systems.

Motorola Solutions said the integration of Exacom’s technology with its Assist Suites will help provide immediate insights during live incidents while preserving evidentiary records used for compliance, quality assurance, and investigations. The company also plans to integrate Exacom into its Digital Evidence Management System, aiming to centralize both audio and visual records of incidents.

Exacom’s portfolio includes cybersecurity capabilities through its subsidiary SecuLore, which provides proactive network monitoring and threat detection designed to protect mission-critical public safety networks.

The company serves customers across public safety, energy, utilities, transportation, and security sectors.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
