Motorola Solutions, a provider of mission-critical communications and safety technology solutions, announced the opening of a new AI and resilience software hub in Boston, Massachusetts. The new facility will serve as a key research and development center focused on applied AI and cloud-based mission-critical software designed to support emergency coordination and collaboration between enterprises and first responders.
The company said the hub will help accelerate the development of mission-ready technologies that power its safety and security platform, which is used by thousands of K-12 schools and higher education institutions to manage complex incidents and emergency situations more efficiently.
According to Motorola Solutions, the Boston hub strengthens the company’s long-standing presence in Massachusetts and expands its investment in AI-driven public safety and enterprise resilience technologies. The facility will support hiring across AI research, software engineering, and product management functions.
