Motorola Solutions has acquired Salt Lake City–based Blue Eye, a provider of AI-driven enterprise remote video monitoring services designed to detect threats in real time and streamline responses through live voice talk-downs and verified alerts. The deal strengthens Motorola Solutions’ position in the rapidly evolving market for intelligent, proactive security technologies.
Blue Eye’s platform integrates with leading cameras and video management systems, enabling businesses to layer advanced remote monitoring capabilities on top of existing infrastructure. Its 24-hour security operations centers offer continuous situational awareness supported by analytics that reveal activity trends across retail, warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, critical infrastructure, and commercial real estate environments.
Motorola Solutions plans to enhance Blue Eye’s offering by incorporating its own advanced AI capabilities into the platform. AI-powered detections from Motorola Solutions’ Visual Alerts can be verified by Blue Eye and then fed into the company’s incident management system, Inform, where automated responses can be orchestrated. The company also intends to broaden Blue Eye’s market reach through its extensive global channel partner network.
The acquisition aligns with Motorola Solutions’ long-term strategy to build a unified security workflow spanning threat detection, verification and response. Blue Eye’s focus on real-time intelligence and operational optimization is expected to accelerate Motorola Solutions’ efforts to serve enterprises seeking stronger protection against loss, ris,k and operational disruption.
