Moving iMage Technologies has appointed Bart Bedard as its new Chief Financial Officer, filling the role vacated by Bill Greene, who has retired from the company after making substantial contributions to MiT’s growth and transformation. Bedard brings over 30 years of US and international financial and accounting leadership experience in CFO and senior finance positions, with a strong track record of supporting strategic growth plans and identifying and implementing efficiency, cost reduction, and financial controls improvement initiatives. He has directed financial reporting, audits, budgeting, compliance, and dozens of sourcing and other significant cost-saving initiatives throughout his career.
Bedard earned his BA in Accounting at Brigham Young University and an MBA from California State University, Fullerton, and holds a Certified Public Accounting license that is currently inactive. He began his professional career in Corporate Controller and Director of Finance roles at subsidiaries of Goodrich and L-3 Harris Technologies, building a foundation in multi-site financial management and operational finance within large, complex organizations. Most recently, Bedard served as a financial consultant supporting audits, financial reporting, and efficiency improvements for several private equity-backed companies with revenues ranging from $50 million to $1 billion.
Moving iMage Technologies is a leading provider of advanced out-of-home entertainment technology and services for cinemas, stadiums, arenas, esports, and immersive venues worldwide. Founded in 2003, MiT provides products, integrated systems design, custom engineering, proprietary products, software, and installation services across entertainment environments. The company manufactures a broad line of digital cinema peripherals in the United States, including automation systems, projector pedestals, projector lifts, direct-view LED frames, lighting fixtures, and power management devices. It also produces and markets the DCS line of premium cinema loudspeakers on a global basis.
The appointment comes as MiT works to scale its DCS cinema loudspeaker business alongside its cinema technology solutions and systems integration offerings — a growth agenda that Bedard’s financial leadership is expected to support. Bill Greene has agreed to serve in a consulting role to assist with the transition as needed, ensuring continuity during the handover period.
