Mudrick Capital Management has appointed Scot Pasquale as Chief Financial Officer, effective September 1, 2026, strengthening the event-driven investment firm’s senior leadership and operating infrastructure.
Pasquale will oversee Mudrick Capital’s finance, accounting and operations functions, serve on the firm’s Management Committee and support continued platform development.
He will be based at Mudrick’s New York City headquarters.
Pasquale brings nearly three decades of finance and operations experience spanning alternative asset management, investment banking and accounting.
He most recently served as CFO of Marathon Asset Management, where he spent more than 18 years and was a member of its Executive Committee.
At Marathon, Pasquale oversaw global accounting and operational functions, financial reporting and budgeting and managed approximately 30 professionals across New York and London.
Previously, he served as a Vice President in Lehman Brothers’ Investment Banking Division and began his career at Ernst & Young.
The appointment follows other senior additions at Mudrick, including Chief Legal Officer Adam Kaufman and Andrew Meares, who leads investment activities across the UK and Europe.
