Muse Software has closed a $4.5 million seed round that will fuel the expansion of its unified operations management platform for museums and cultural attractions. The funding represents a significant milestone for the Miami-based company as it works to modernize a sector that has historically relied on fragmented legacy systems. Roo Capital led the round, with additional participation from Banter Capital and FJ Labs.
The company offers a single platform that brings together ticketing, CRM, retail and café operations, fundraising, and event management. The goal is to replace a patchwork of outdated systems with a streamlined solution that enhances efficiency, supports revenue growth, and fosters stronger engagement with visitors, members, and donors. By integrating functions that previously required separate tools, museums gain a centralized view of their data and operations.
Muse Software aims to eliminate labor-intensive workflows that burden museum teams. Its automation tools handle tasks such as generating donor acknowledgement letters, identifying prospects, managing waitlists, and reconciling financial data with accounting systems. These capabilities are designed to reduce staff workload and create opportunities for teams to invest more time in visitor experience, educational programming, and community engagement.
The company is also building a sophisticated data layer that helps museums understand and act on audience behavior, operational performance, and donor trends. With this foundation, Muse can introduce tools that create new pathways for insights-driven decision-making that have previously been out of reach for many institutions.
The new capital will support accelerated product development, an expansion of core features, and deeper investment in customer support. Muse Software plans to continue working closely with museums to understand their operational challenges and deliver tools that drive measurable impact across admissions, memberships, donations, events, and retail.
The company serves museums, zoos, aquariums, and nonprofits seeking a modern, intuitive platform that consolidates daily operations into one connected system.
