myFootpath Partners With Western Colorado University

By Amit Chowdhry ● Feb 9, 2026

myFootpath has entered a new partnership with Western Colorado University aimed at bringing adult and returning learners back to higher education and improving degree completion among students who previously stopped out before earning a credential. The collaboration focuses on reconnecting with former students and creating clearer, more accessible pathways to completing a degree.

Under the agreement, myFootpath will support Western Colorado University’s reengagement and completion initiatives through student data analysis, technology-enabled solutions, and personalized one-on-one coaching. The partners said the work is designed to reduce administrative, academic, and personal barriers that often prevent stop-out students from returning and persisting through graduation.

Western Colorado University, a public institution based in Gunnison, Colorado, positioned the partnership as an extension of its efforts to meet learners where they are and strengthen long-term student success. myFootpath, which has worked with colleges and universities for more than two decades, said it will apply its data-driven approach to help the university target outreach and interventions while providing individualized guidance to returning students.

The announcement comes amid heightened national attention on the stop-out population. Citing the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center, the release notes that 43.1 million individuals had some college experience but no credential as of June 2025. myFootpath said it has supported institutions in reengaging, supporting, and enrolling more than 30,000 adult learners to date.
