myLaurel Raises Funding For Advancing Expansion Of Hospital-Level Care In The Home

By Amit Chowdhry • Nov 6, 2025

SteelSky Ventures has led a new investment round in myLaurel, joining Deerfield Management and Google Ventures (GV) to expand myLaurel’s in-home acute care platform across major U.S. health systems. The funding will support nationwide growth as demand increases for solutions that relieve hospital overcrowding and staffing constraints.

myLaurel enables hospitals to deliver high-acuity, hospital-level treatment in patient homes through a model that combines technology infrastructure with an in-market clinical response team. The company’s platform coordinates logistics, documentation, and physician oversight in real time through AI-enabled systems that support standardized clinical protocols and measurable outcomes aligned with hospital operational incentives.

The company is currently operating in markets such as New York City and New Orleans through partnerships with Ochsner Health, LCMC Health, and Maimonides Medical Center. myLaurel reports a 49% reduction in readmissions, a six-to-one return on investment for hospital partners, and patient satisfaction scores above 90 NPS.

CEO Juan Vallarino and President and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Marcy Carty lead the business. Vallarino brings experience scaling value-based care and technology-enabled care delivery organizations, while Dr. Carty has built health system partnerships and clinical operations programs in large, complex provider environments.

The investment positions myLaurel to expand its service footprint while maintaining clinical quality outcomes and patient-centered performance benchmarks. SteelSky Ventures’ participation in the round includes a Board of Directors appointment for founding and managing partner Maria Toler.
