Mynd.ai appointed Bin Shen as Chief Executive Officer and Interim Chief Financial Officer, effective October 12, 2026, as Arthur Giterman steps down from both roles and the company’s board.
Giterman’s resignation as CEO, CFO, and director is effective October 11.
Mynd.ai plans to conduct a comprehensive search for a permanent CFO.
Shen joins the education and enterprise technology company from EchoStar, where he served as Senior Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions.
At EchoStar, he led strategic investments and growth initiatives across space, aviation, enterprise AI, and advanced manufacturing.
Previously, Shen held senior leadership positions at Microsoft.
His roles included Vice President of Global Partner Solutions and Vice President of Consumer and Device Sales.
He also held senior positions at Honeywell, Google/Motorola, and Verizon.
Mynd.ai said Shen brings experience across AI, cloud computing, SaaS, edge computing, partnerships, and global technology operations.
Giterman joined the company as CFO in 2023 and became CEO in 2025.
During his tenure, he helped reshape Mynd.ai’s product and go-to-market strategies, corporate capabilities, and operating cost structure.
After leaving his executive roles, Giterman will serve as an advisor to the board to support the transition and provide strategic guidance.
