N-Power Medicine has successfully secured $32 million in a Series B financing round, a significant milestone that will support the expansion of its community oncology network. This funding round will also strengthen pharmaceutical partnerships and support the continued development of innovative products to improve cancer care.
As part of this funding round, Labcorp Venture Fund has joined as a new strategic investor, bringing valuable expertise and resources to N-Power. Additionally, notable existing investors, including the Merck Global Health Innovation Fund and Innovatus Capital Partners, have participated, alongside a U.S.-based biotech investor. Their collective support underscores the growing confidence in N-Power’s mission and technological advancements.
At the core of N-Power’s innovation is the Prospective External Control Arm (ProECA) platform. This cutting-edge technology enables the creation of prospective, trial-grade external control arms derived from everyday cancer care data. By leveraging routine clinical practices, ProECA aims to reduce dependence on traditional randomized control arms in clinical trials. This shift not only reduces the complexity and time required for patient enrollment but also significantly shortens clinical trial timelines and lowers drug development costs.
N-Power’s inaugural ProECA, which focuses specifically on non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), is currently operational at more than 40 community oncology sites. This initiative has attracted interest from various pharmaceutical and biotech companies, which are using the platform for early development programs and Phase 4 initiatives, enhancing their research capabilities and accelerating time-to-market for new treatments.
Looking ahead, N-Power has ambitious plans to introduce additional ProECA programs targeting colorectal cancer and prostate cancer, set to launch in late 2026. These upcoming initiatives are expected to further bolster N-Power’s impact on oncology research and patient outcomes, demonstrating the company’s commitment to advancing cancer care through innovative approaches.
