- Gaming and media technology company N3TWORK announced it closed $40 million in Series C funding
N3TWORK — a gaming and media technology company — announced it closed $40 million in Series C funding to accelerate the growth of the company across its first-party games portfolio, live games publishing platform, and media and audience network.
This investment was provided by Griffin Gaming Partners, Galaxy Digital Capital, KPCB Holdings, Korea Investment Partners, TABLE, Blue Planet Software, and Ocean Road. And in conjunction with this round of funding, former Lionsgate Interactive president and Griffin partner Peter Y. Levin has joined the Board of Directors.
“It’s an exciting time to be in our space; we see a massive opportunity to unlock,” said Neil Young, CEO of N3TWORK Inc. “Mobile entertainment is now at the center of our daily lifestyle and everyone plays games. We are incredibly focused on creating a company that can fully realize the opportunity through combining the best games, the best developer platform and community network to entertain every type of player.”
N3TWORK’s goal is built on three pillars, which include developing a diverse portfolio of highly engaging games, providing a world-class live games publishing platform for developers, and building an audience network to cultivate lasting fan experiences by fusing media, messaging and information together with their favorite games. And this round of funding will accelerate investment across all areas of the business.
“N3TWORK has a clear vision to build the next great games company, leveraging the power of a modern media company model,” added Levin. “N3TWORK has all the ingredients of a company of destiny: a great team, a great structure to build a growing and virtuous cycle around games & communities, and an advanced platform that underpins its ability to serve live games and their audiences.”
The company’s current first-party gaming portfolio includes popular action puzzle RPG Legendary: Game of Heroes and the upcoming Tetris game along with a range of unannounced titles under development. Plus the company recently announced a developer solution called SCALE PLATFORM, which is already serving live games and rapidly integrating partners. THE N3TWORK — which is the company’s media and community app — has been in testing and will be fully deployed in 2020 both to players and as a tool for developer partners to build direct relationships with their communities.
