n8n: $180 Million Series C At $2.5 Billion Valuation Raised For Expanding AI Orchestration Platform

Berlin-based automation and AI orchestration startup n8n has announced a $180 million Series C funding round, bringing its total funding to $240 million and valuing the company at $2.5 billion. The funding round was led by Accel, with participation from Meritech, Redpoint, Evantic, and Visionaries Club. NVentures (NVIDIA’s venture capital arm) and T.Capital also joined the round, alongside follow-on investments from Felicis Ventures, Sequoia, Highland Europe, and HV Capital.

Founded in 2019 by Jan Oberhauser, n8n began as a flexible automation tool and has evolved into a platform designed to help businesses deploy AI agents in production. The company’s approach centers on orchestration and coordination—two elements it sees as essential for turning AI from experimental prototypes into reliable business tools.

n8n’s platform allows users to strike a balance between full AI autonomy and rigid rule-based logic. Rather than forcing businesses to choose between unpredictable AI-driven workflows or developer-heavy manual routing, n8n offers a middle ground. Users can decide how much control to retain and how much autonomy to grant their agents, adjusting that balance as they learn what works best.

Beyond control, n8n emphasizes orchestration—connecting agents to real tools and data sources, integrating human oversight, and setting up the triggers and monitoring systems that keep workflows running smoothly. It also focuses on coordination, enabling business users and technical builders to collaborate in real time on the same platform. This dual focus helps avoid the common pitfall where AI agents stall in development due to misalignment between teams.

The company has seen rapid growth in 2025, with a sixfold increase in users and a tenfold jump in revenue. New features like Evaluations and Data Tables have expanded the platform’s capabilities, and n8n continues to prioritize flexibility—allowing users to choose any model, connect any tool, and deploy anywhere, from cloud environments to Raspberry Pi devices.

n8n’s community has played a significant role in its evolution, contributing templates, videos, and custom nodes. The company plans to support this ecosystem further by offering educational resources, early access to new features, commercial partnerships, and community events.

With the new funding, n8n will accelerate its roadmap, expand integrations, and introduce new interfaces tailored to different team workflows. The company is also hiring as it scales operations to meet growing demand for production-ready AI solutions.
