Nace.AI has raised $21.5 million in seed funding to commercialize a platform where more than 100 specialized AI agents autonomously execute complex enterprise workflows, with human experts providing final validation. The round was led by Walden Catalyst with participation from General Catalyst and a group of institutional and angel investors. Alongside the announcement, the company is launching its product in research preview.
The company’s core technology, called MetaModel, converts enterprise policies and procedures into Small Language Models designed for large-scale, real-world data. Unlike general-purpose AI systems, these models continuously learn from company-specific environments, adapting over time through proprietary architectures and meta learning. The platform orchestrates dozens of specialized models across massive amounts of unstructured files — including financial histories, operational data, and legal documents — transforming fragmented information into structured, decision-ready outputs with full reasoning traces.
Nace.AI is positioning its platform as a replacement for the traditional billable-hour model in professional services. The company describes its approach as a 90/10 model: 90% autonomous execution handled by reinforcement learning agents and 10% last-mile validation provided by an expert network of certified freelancers, industry veterans, and boutique firms. Target outputs include financial audits, SOX compliance reports, risk assessments, market research, and business process analysis.
The research preview is now open for companies to upload unstructured data and generate professional deliverables across finance, audit, and compliance. Nace.AI is simultaneously expanding its network of expert professionals who validate AI-generated outputs. The company is based in Palo Alto and was founded by CEO Dos Baha alongside co-founders Zhanibek and Sudha.
