Nakamoto announced that its Board of Directors has expanded from six to seven members with the appointment of Tyler Evans as a Class II Director, effective May 22, 2026.
Evans currently serves as Chief Investment Officer at Nakamoto, where he leads the company’s origination and investment strategy. With the new appointment, he will take on an expanded leadership role as the company continues scaling its operations and strategic initiatives.
David Bailey, Chairman and CEO of Nakamoto, said the company believes Evans’ background in operational management, capital markets, and public company experience will support Nakamoto’s focus on balance sheet management, strategic capital allocation, and long-term shareholder value creation.
In addition to his position at Nakamoto, Evans also serves as Chief Investment Officer of UTXO Management, where he oversees investment strategy across public and private market opportunities within the Bitcoin ecosystem. He also serves on the boards of Metaplanet Inc., The Smarter Web Company Plc, and Matador Inc.
