Nano Labs Builds 70,000 BNB Reserve And Launches AI Agent PC As It Expands AI-Web3 Strategy

Nano Labs is increasingly repositioning itself around the convergence of artificial intelligence, Web3 infrastructure and digital-asset treasury management, with the company building a long-term reserve of 70,000 BNB and launching new hardware designed for AI agents.

As of the date of its first-half 2026 report, Nano Labs held a long-term reserve of 70,000 BNB.

Management said digital assets are now a strategic component of the company’s capital-allocation framework and believes the reserve could support future ecosystem partnerships and strategic initiatives.

The company is coupling that treasury strategy with a new AI-focused hardware and software initiative.

During the period, Nano Labs launched the iPollo ClawPC A1 Mini, a next-generation computing product designed to support the OpenClaw AI Agent system.

The hardware is also intended for gaming and entertainment, professional content creation and intelligent office applications.

Nano Labs plans to expand the product into a wider OpenClaw ecosystem through its proprietary iPollo Claw OS and Skill Hub.

Management’s stated objective is to create an integrated ecosystem spanning intelligent terminals, operating systems, hardware, software and applications.

That strategy represents a significant evolution from Nano Labs’ earlier emphasis on its iPollo V Series products.

Current reported financial results remain extremely small relative to the company’s new strategic ambitions.

First-half revenue declined to RMB2.8 million, or approximately $400,000, from RMB8.3 million a year earlier because of lower iPollo V Series sales volume.

Gross loss improved to RMB5.8 million, or approximately $900,000, from RMB10.7 million.

The company’s digital-asset exposure produced substantial volatility in reported results.

Nano Labs recorded a RMB250.5 million, or $36.8 million, loss from changes in the fair value of cryptocurrencies during the first half.

That compares with a RMB48.6 million fair-value gain in the prior-year period.

Management attributed the loss primarily to a decline in BNB’s price during the first half.

Net loss consequently widened to RMB316.7 million, or $46.5 million, from RMB11.8 million.

Cash and cash equivalents totaled approximately RMB9 million, or $1.3 million, at June 30, compared with RMB8.5 million at the end of 2025.

Those financial results make the company’s 70,000-BNB reserve especially important to understanding Nano Labs’ current investment profile.

Reported earnings can move dramatically with cryptocurrency prices, meaning conventional revenue and operating-loss metrics provide only part of the picture.

Nano Labs is effectively combining three strategic exposures: Web3 infrastructure, AI-oriented computing hardware and a cryptocurrency treasury.

The company also continues returning some capital to shareholders.

As of August 26, Nano Labs had repurchased approximately $3.2 million of Class A ordinary shares under its repurchase program.

Research and development expense increased 39.8% during the first half to RMB4.4 million, reflecting higher system-development service fees, while selling and marketing spending rose 17% as the company invested in market expansion.

The positive story is consequently strategic rather than earnings-driven.

Nano Labs is attempting to leverage its computing background into the emerging AI-agent market while simultaneously building one of the more unusual BNB-focused corporate treasury strategies.

Whether those initiatives ultimately create sustainable operating revenue remains to be demonstrated, but the combination of 70,000 BNB and the newly launched AI-agent ecosystem gives the company a materially different profile from its legacy hardware business.
