Narmi Launches AI Marketplace For Community Financial Institutions

Narmi has launched the Narmi AI Marketplace, a centralized platform that brings practical artificial intelligence capabilities directly into the workflows of community financial institutions. The marketplace combines Narmi’s proprietary AI tools with an expanding ecosystem of technology partners, giving banks and credit unions a unified way to deploy AI while maintaining human oversight and a consistent security framework.

The platform is built around Narmi’s existing AI capabilities for both back-office staff workflows and customer-facing digital banking experiences. Financial institutions can deploy the tools within workflows their teams already use, with a human remaining in control throughout the process and Narmi’s security infrastructure supporting the applications.

The AI Marketplace is also designed to serve as an expanding ecosystem for third-party capabilities. Initial technology partners include Waldo, Clarid, Agent IQ, MX, Payman, Alloy, InstaSwitch, and PayPath, with Narmi positioning the marketplace around AI applications that address specific operational and customer-facing problems.

Among the tools available through the marketplace are Narmi’s Claude and ChatGPT MCP Servers, which allow account holders to analyze information such as cash flow, balances, and transactions through Claude or ChatGPT while keeping sensitive financial data protected. Narmi’s MCP Server was also named a finalist for Best Bank & FinTech Partnership at the Banking Tech Awards USA following its launch with Grasshopper Bank.

Another component, AI DecisionAssist, helps financial institution staff review account-opening applications. The agentic workflow converts raw identity verification information into plain-language summaries and provides explainable recommendations tailored to an institution’s policies.

Narmi said AI DecisionAssist has already produced measurable efficiency improvements. Average review time has dropped from eight minutes to under two minutes, while reviews at the 90th percentile are completed six times faster.

The marketplace also includes AI Secure Messages, which automatically drafts customer-service responses using a financial institution’s own reference materials. The tool helps staff manage larger volumes of messages while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and the institution’s preferred tone.

Narmi is also using AI to streamline marketing workflows. Its Marketing Promotions and Audiences functionality lets financial institutions create targeted audiences based on account activity and customer attributes, draft campaign copy, and test new promotions.

The company’s AI Search Bar enables employees to ask natural-language questions across applications, transactions, and customer profiles. Narmi said the capability is intended to reduce manual searching and help financial institution staff move from reactive customer support toward more proactive financial guidance.

Narmi said the AI Marketplace is now live and will continue expanding through an active product roadmap. Planned capabilities include document agents within AI DecisionAssist and agentic AI functionality for Secure Messages.

The launch reflects Narmi’s broader strategy of embedding AI directly into financial institution workflows rather than requiring banks and credit unions to manage multiple disconnected AI vendors and systems. The company is emphasizing measurable operational improvements, centralized governance, security, and human oversight as it expands the marketplace.

KEY QUOTE:

“Our goal with the AI Marketplace is to deliver functional, high-impact AI that drives immediate value without added operational friction.
