Navigara: $2.5 Million Raised For Engineering Performance Measurement Platform

Navigara announced its official launch alongside a $2.5 million seed funding round aimed at helping engineering leaders measure whether AI tools and development processes are actually improving software performance and productivity.

The funding round was led by Inovo VC with participation from Rockaway Ventures and QQ Capital. The company’s platform provides engineering teams and executives with data-driven insights into productivity, quality, alignment, and the real impact of AI tools across development workflows.

Founded by former CTO and systems engineer Jirka Bachel, Navigara was created to address a growing challenge in modern software development. While engineering teams are producing more code than ever and adopting AI tools throughout the development lifecycle, many leaders still struggle to determine whether these changes are delivering measurable business outcomes.

Navigara integrates with platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, Jira, and Linear, translating engineering activity into performance signals that help organizations align development work with strategic objectives. Rather than focusing on activity metrics alone, the platform emphasizes outcomes such as delivery quality, productivity improvements, and business impact over time.

The company uses agentic analysis to evaluate engineering workflows, examining each code commit for intent, ownership, and impact before aggregating those insights into system-level metrics. This approach is designed to give leaders a clearer view of how engineering output translates into organizational performance.

According to the company, early users have reported improvements in delivery consistency and code quality. The platform also helps teams identify where AI tools accelerate development and where they may introduce additional review workload, rework, or inefficiencies.

Navigara deploys within customers’ private cloud environments, ensuring data sovereignty and compliance requirements. The platform operates with read-only access and does not train models on customer data, a design intended to make the technology suitable for highly regulated enterprise environments.

Headquartered in San Francisco with engineering operations in Prague, Navigara was co-founded in 2025 and focuses on helping organizations objectively measure engineering performance and AI-driven productivity across modern development stacks.

KEY QUOTES

“AI changed how engineers work, but not how leaders measure performance. We built Navigara to replace assumptions with evidence. Not more dashboards, but clarity you can actually act on.”
Jirka Bachel, Founder and CEO of Navigara

“Navigara brought a new layer of trust into our engineering organization. We used to rely on meetings and opinions about progress. Now we use facts.”
Viktor Stiskala, CTO of GTO Wizard

“Navigara tackles one of the hardest problems in the AI economy: separating real performance gains from noise. Jirka and his team built a system that treats engineering like a measurable discipline, not a matter of opinion. That’s exactly what modern organizations need.”
Matt Małysz, Partner at Inovo VC

“Developer productivity is now a critical issue for almost every company. After the wave of AI adoption, it’s time to distinguish what truly creates value from what companies spend unnecessarily. We were also impressed by the founder’s ambition and his understanding that building a global company requires being personally present in the United States. Combining deep technical expertise with a clear vision for international growth is, in our view, a key prerequisite for success.”
Petr Šmíd, General Partner at Rockaway Ventures
