NBCUniversal announced a slate of new AI-driven features for its Peacock mobile app, including an interactive experience called “Your Bravoverse,” designed to personalize Bravo content for fans using generative AI and vertical video formats.

The company said the feature, launching this summer, will create personalized playlists drawn from more than 5,000 hours of Bravo programming. The experience is designed as an endlessly scrollable vertical video feed that surfaces iconic scenes, storylines, and behind-the-scenes moments from across Bravo franchises.

“Your Bravoverse” will be guided by a digital avatar of Andy Cohen, the host of Watch What Happens Live, who will act as a virtual host introducing content and helping fans discover related shows and moments across the Bravo universe.

NBCUniversal said artificial intelligence is used throughout the experience, including extracting clips from Bravo’s full catalog, identifying storylines through computer vision, and assembling curated playlists based on viewers’ interests. The system also uses AI agents trained on fan engagement patterns to connect storylines across seasons and series.

Users will begin by selecting their favorite Bravo shows and moments, after which the platform generates personalized streams of clips. NBCUniversal said the system can generate more than 600 billion potential viewing variations.

The Andy Cohen avatar was created using generative AI technology and trained to replicate Cohen’s voice and presentation style using footage recorded in a dedicated studio. NBCUniversal editors review the AI-generated playlists to ensure quality and accuracy.

Alongside the Bravoverse experience, Peacock also previewed several additional mobile features. The platform plans to introduce AI-powered real-time cropping for live sports broadcasts, allowing viewers to watch games in a vertical 9:16 format optimized for mobile devices. The feature will debut in beta for NBA games this spring.

The company is also expanding its gaming offerings within the Peacock app. Two mobile games developed with Wolf Games are set to launch, including Law & Order: Clue Hunter, which challenges players to identify suspects through hidden-object gameplay, and Public Eye, a narrative-driven mystery experience scheduled to debut this summer. Peacock will also introduce a daily trivia mini-game based on Jeopardy!.

NBCUniversal said the updates are intended to deepen fan engagement and position Peacock as a destination for interactive entertainment experiences tied to its television franchises and sports programming.
