The National Content & Technology Cooperative has promoted Brian Jones to Chief Financial Officer. Jones previously served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations and has worked at NCTC for 34 years.
Jones has supported the organization’s financial management and operational development through periods of growth and industry change. He has also worked closely with NCTC’s Board of Directors, member companies, programming providers and technology suppliers.
As CFO, Jones will lead NCTC’s finance function and oversee financial reporting. He will also support operational planning and strategic decision-making across the organization.
His promotion provides continuity for NCTC as it works with independent broadband and cable operators across the United States. The organization said Jones’ experience and understanding of its members and suppliers made him a natural choice for the expanded leadership position.
NCTC is a Kansas-based nonprofit cooperative representing more than 650 independent broadband and cable operators. Its members collectively serve approximately one-third of connected households across all 50 states and U.S. territories.
The cooperative negotiates content, connectivity and technology arrangements on behalf of its members. These agreements are intended to create operating efficiencies, support new products and help independent providers develop additional revenue opportunities.
