By Amit Chowdhry • Jun 17, 2026

Nebius announced that it has completed its acquisition of Eigen AI, a company focused on inference and model optimization.

The transaction was first announced on May 1, 2026, and closed on June 10, 2026. The closing followed the receipt of required regulatory approvals and the satisfaction of other customary closing conditions.

The acquisition adds Eigen AI’s inference and optimization capabilities to Nebius as the company continues expanding its AI cloud platform. Inference and model optimization have become increasingly important for companies deploying AI products at scale, as businesses look to improve performance, reduce latency, and manage the cost of running advanced AI models in production environments.

Nebius is building a full-stack AI cloud platform designed to support developers, startups, and enterprises across the AI lifecycle. This includes infrastructure and tools for data management, model training, and production deployment. By adding Eigen AI, Nebius is strengthening its position in areas that are critical for customers moving from experimentation to real-world AI applications.

The completion of the deal also reflects Nebius’ broader strategy of expanding its technical capabilities as demand continues to grow for AI infrastructure. Companies building AI products, agents, and services increasingly need platforms that can handle both large-scale training workloads and efficient model deployment.

Nebius is headquartered in Amsterdam and listed on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol NBIS. The company serves startups and enterprises worldwide that are developing AI products, agents, and services.
