Nectar Social announced it raised a $30 million Series A round led by Menlo Ventures and its Anthology Fund, which was created in partnership with Anthropic. The round also included participation from True Ventures, GV, and Kinship Ventures, the investment firm founded by Gwyneth Paltrow.

Founded by sisters Misbah Uraizee and Farah Uraizee, both former leaders at Meta, Nectar emerged from stealth in 2025 and simultaneously announced the launch of Nectar Agent, its autonomous AI agent designed for modern marketing operations.

The company positions itself as an AI infrastructure platform for modern marketing, combining social intelligence, community management, creator workflows, and conversational commerce into a single operating system. Nectar said it has official data partnerships with Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, and X.

According to the company, Nectar Agent operates autonomously in real time across brand conversations while allowing marketing teams to maintain control over voice, strategy, and approvals.

Nectar said it currently powers more than 10 million conversations per week across pre-purchase, post-purchase, and creator workflows, with activity growing 5x over the past three months. The company added that each AI agent performs work equivalent to roughly 20 hours of manual effort per task per week.

Customers include e.l.f. Beauty, Babylist, Figma, Graza, Liquid Death, Caraway, and Kosas.

The company said it has attributed more than $100 million in revenue back to social interactions, engaged over 50 million consumers, and now powers more than 80% of brand social interactions for its customers.

The new funding will be used to expand engineering and applied AI hiring across the Bay Area and New York, deepen platform partnerships, and broaden Nectar Agent into additional marketing categories.

KEY QUOTES:

“AI is creating infinite content. Brands now need infinite presence. The conversations that actually shape what people buy have moved into DMs, comments, and group chats…places no human team can realistically staff. The brands that win this next decade will be the ones who show up in every one of them, in their own voice. That’s what we built Nectar to make possible.”

Misbah Uraizee, CEO and Co-Founder, Nectar Social

“Social media moves faster than any team can and marketers are drowning or arriving too late. The only way to keep up is through AI that understands every story, video, or message and acts and flags in real time, with your brand’s judgment built in. That’s what we built Nectar to be.”

Farah Uraizee, CTO and Co-Founder, Nectar Social

“The software stack most brands built was designed for an era when the work happened on the interface. That’s no longer true. At e.l.f. Beauty, social is where discovery, decision, and loyalty actually happen. Nectar has combined our customer experience, influencer, social marketing, and insights work into one operating system, lifted response rates 60%, and given us the first clean line from a social conversation to revenue. Connected commerce isn’t a vision anymore. This is what it looks like in production.”

Ekta Chopra, Chief Technology and AI Officer, e.l.f. Beauty

“We invested in Nectar Social because of how much their customers love the product. They’re saving brands money and time by collapsing an antiquated marketing stack while driving net new revenues by opening social commerce channels. The ROI is immediate.”

Amy Wu Martin, Partner, Menlo Ventures
