NEFCO, a family-operated, value-added construction supply company serving professional contractors nationwide, has entered into a strategic partnership with private equity firm Leonard Green & Partners (LGP) aimed at accelerating the company’s long-term growth strategy.
NEFCO said the partnership is designed to build on recent momentum driven by organic growth, ongoing investment in people and infrastructure, and a disciplined acquisition approach across the specialty construction supply sector. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The deal follows a multi-year period of expansion supported by Bertram Capital, during which NEFCO said it broadened its national footprint, strengthened value-added service capabilities, and increased investment in operations and talent.
Under the new partnership, LGP will work with NEFCO to accelerate growth in key markets, build on differentiated capabilities, and pursue strategic initiatives intended to enhance long-term value creation. NEFCO said it will continue operating as usual, maintaining its focus on speed, service, and local expertise for contractors across jobsites nationwide.
