NeoGeoInfo Technologies has raised $20 million in Series A funding from SBI’s Neev II Fund and Aavishkaar Capital to expand its geospatial intelligence platform and accelerate development of GeoAI capabilities.
The investment represents a major new growth milestone for NeoGeo as it seeks to scale technology designed to help governments and enterprises turn location-based information into actionable intelligence.
NeoGeo views geospatial intelligence as an increasingly important layer of digital infrastructure, with applications spanning economic development, infrastructure planning, utilities, land governance, natural resources, telecommunications, disaster resilience and national development.
The company believes demand for geospatial technology will increase as governments and businesses rely more heavily on location intelligence to make operational and strategic decisions.
NeoGeo was founded around a long-term mission of building geospatial intelligence infrastructure that can help countries improve planning, accelerate infrastructure development, strengthen governance and operate more sustainably.
Its platforms, solutions and teams currently support critical programs across India.
The company focuses on transforming geographic information into insights that can be used to support economic, operational and strategic decision-making.
Proceeds from the Series A round will be used to expand NeoGeo’s technology platforms and advance its GeoAI capabilities.
The company also plans to strengthen its talent base and expand into additional markets.
GeoAI combines geospatial datasets with artificial intelligence to automate analysis, identify patterns and generate insights from large volumes of location-based information.
For NeoGeo, expanding those capabilities is part of a broader strategy to make geospatial intelligence more deeply integrated into infrastructure, governance and enterprise decision-making.
The investment also brings SBI Neev II Fund and Aavishkaar Capital into NeoGeo’s investor base as long-term partners.
NeoGeo sees the financing as validation of its broader thesis that geospatial intelligence will play a growing role in national infrastructure, economic growth and technological sovereignty.
As organizations generate increasingly large volumes of satellite, mapping, infrastructure and location-based data, the company expects the ability to convert that information into timely intelligence to become more valuable.
NeoGeo plans to use the new capital to accelerate that transition while extending its footprint beyond its existing programs in India.
