Neros Technologies has raised $250 million in Series C funding at a $2.5 billion post-money valuation to accelerate development and production of its autonomous and interceptor drone programs. The round was co-led by Sequoia Capital and American Strategic Technology Fund, with participation from Interlagos, Valor Equity Partners, Allen & Company, Thiel Capital, Spark Capital and Dylan Field.
The new funding will support production ramps for several drone programs, including Archer AI and Bandit.
Archer AI is an FPV drone platform augmented with autonomous capabilities including Terminal Guidance and GPS-denied Position Hold.
Bandit is a counter-UAS interceptor designed to address Class 2 and Class 3 drone threats, including Shahed-style systems.
Neros is also developing the hardware and compute infrastructure required for multi-asset control, often referred to as swarming, while aiming to preserve the low-cost characteristics needed for large-scale deployment.
The company expects both Archer AI and Bandit to be deployed in combat theaters by the end of 2026.
Neros said the expanded product portfolio is intended to give the company capabilities across the mass-produced small-drone market, spanning manually operated FPV systems enhanced with autonomous strike capabilities, counter-UAS interceptors and coordinated multi-drone operations.
The company is pursuing a vertically integrated strategy that includes ownership of core technologies, component integration and domestic production capacity.
Neros ultimately plans to manufacture millions of drones annually for the U.S. and allied countries, with a goal of reaching production of 1 million drones per year by 2028.
Its planned product portfolio includes systems for long-range strike, close-quarters combat and drone interception.
Neros currently has major contracts with the U.S. Army and Marine Corps, along with contracts across every component of U.S. Special Operations Command and approximately half a dozen allied countries.
The company is also expanding internationally through its U.K. subsidiary and partnerships with allied countries across Europe, Asia and the Middle East, including efforts supporting sovereign defense manufacturing.
