Nest Health, a pioneering provider of in-home and whole-family care for Medicaid families, has secured over $12.5 million in Series A funding. The round was co-led by returning investors 8VC and Blue Venture Fund, with additional participation from Amboy Street Ventures, Alumni Ventures, Health 2047, Nicholas Jarboe, and others. This backing amplifies Nest Health’s mission to deliver comprehensive care directly to families, addressing medical, behavioral, and social needs within the comfort of their own homes.
This investment arrives at a transformative moment for Medicaid policy in the U.S., as evolving regulations intensify the need for scalable, cost-effective solutions that improve patient outcomes.
Nest Health stands out with its model: in-home and virtual care that supports entire households, eliminating the fragmentation of separate pediatric, adult, or behavioral health providers. Families receive coordinated care tailored to every life stage, including primary care, mental health services, substance use treatment, social support, and 24/7 access to clinical teams.
Nest Health has demonstrated a significant impact. Collaborating with AmeriHealth Caritas Louisiana, the company reduced emergency room visits, doubled vaccine rates, achieved a 91% postpartum visit completion within 30 days, and delivered a twofold return on investment. Recent expansion into Arizona, partnering with Blue Cross Blue Shield’s Health Choice, now enables more than 18,000 Medicaid enrollees to access Nest’s integrated services.
Beyond care delivery, Nest helps families maintain Medicaid coverage, reducing churn by assisting with enrollment and access to timely care—even as eligibility rules tighten. The recent Series A will drive product innovation, leveraging AI for timely, personalized interventions, and accelerate growth across states through new partnerships. The round officially closes October 5, marking a pivotal step for Nest Health’s vision to make trusted, family-centered care accessible for those who need it most.
