The final episode of “Breaking Bad” aired around six years ago. In the final episode, drug lord Walter White (played by Bryan Cranston) had come out of hiding and decided to rescue Jesse from an Aryan Brotherhood gang. At the end of the episode, White had passed away in a lab while Pinkman sped off in an El Camino.

Vince Gilligan — the creator of Breaking Bad — wrote and directed “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.” And Netflix is releasing the film on October 11. And the film is expected to be broadcasted later on AMC — which is the channel where Breaking Bad aired between 2008 and 2013.

In the trailer, Pinkman’s friend Skinny Pete was brought in for questioning. And the description of the movie says:

“In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity, Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future.”

According to The New York Times, Paul said that Gilligan had called him two years ago with an idea to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the debut of “Breaking Bad.” At the end of the conversation, he told Paul where he thought about taking the series and Paul told him that he would “follow him into a fire.”

Breaking Bad also has a spinoff TV show called “Better Call Saul,” which stars Bob Odenkirk. Odenkirk is known for playing the character Saul Goodman.
