Netflix (NFLX) announced that its “Basic With Ads” plan is launching on November 3 for $6.99 per month. This plan will feature most of the company’s catalog of TV shows and movies. But some shows/movies will not be available at first due to licensing issues.
About 4-5 minutes of ads will be played per hour and each ad will run for 15 to 30 seconds. And the Basic With Ads plan will be limited to 720p content.
Launch timing: Netflix’s “Basic with Ads” plan launches November 3 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET for users in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Spain, the UK, and the US.
