Netrio: Kevin Charest Appointed Vice President Of Cyber Governance Services

Netrio, a global managed service provider (MSP) that helps mid-market enterprises modernize and secure their IT environments, announced the appointment of Kevin Charest as Vice President of Cyber Governance Services. In this newly expanded leadership role, Charest will lead the company’s cybersecurity strategy, innovation, and service delivery across its global portfolio.

Charest brings more than three decades of cybersecurity experience spanning both the public and private sectors. His career includes senior cybersecurity leadership roles at major organizations, including serving as chief information security officer and head of IT infrastructure for a Fortune-level enterprise. He also served as chief information security officer for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where he oversaw enterprise security initiatives across a large federal environment.

Throughout his career, Charest has led large-scale cybersecurity programs, managed enterprise risk and compliance frameworks, and helped organizations strengthen threat detection and mitigation strategies across complex IT infrastructures. His background includes developing security governance programs and implementing advanced cybersecurity practices designed to safeguard sensitive systems and data.

In his new position at Netrio, Charest will oversee the expansion of the company’s cybersecurity services portfolio and help integrate advanced security frameworks across its managed services platform. He will also work with product and engineering teams to advance the company’s AI-driven cybersecurity offerings and embed proactive risk management and threat intelligence into its service delivery model.
