Neuberger Berman, a global employee-owned investment manager, has closed NB Strategic Co-Investment Partners V, raising over $2.8 billion in capital commitments, surpassing its initial target of $2.25 billion.
This milestone reflects growing investor interest in general partner-centric strategies and reinforces Neuberger’s status as a leading private equity co-investment manager, with over $40 billion in dedicated capital under management.
Fund V aims to build a diversified global portfolio of direct equity co-investments across various industries and enterprise values, attracting a diverse group of investors, including pension funds, insurance companies, and high-net-worth individuals.
Since January 2024, Neuberger has raised around $6 billion in client capital for co-investments, indicating strong global demand for its investment approach.
