NeuralTrust, a platform for securing AI agents, announced it raised $20 million in seed funding. The company said the round is the largest cybersecurity seed financing raised by an EU company to date.
The round was led by Alstin Capital, with participation from VentureFriends, Seaya, Kibo Ventures, Banc Sabadell, EA Ventures Plug and Play Fund, and Finaves, the venture capital fund of IESE Business School. NeuralTrust is also backed by public funding from the European Innovation Council and Spain’s State Research Agency.
NeuralTrust said the funding will support engineering, deeper product integration, and expansion across Europe as enterprises move autonomous AI systems into production.
The company is focused on helping enterprises identify, secure, and govern AI agents running across their organizations. NeuralTrust said enterprise AI agents often operate across multiple platforms and endpoints, creating security fragmentation as deployments grow. The company’s platform is designed to serve as an enforcement layer across those environments.
NeuralTrust’s platform includes three core products: TrustGate, an agent gateway that brokers LLM, MCP, and tool calls; TrustGuard, a runtime security engine that detects and stops threats across platforms and endpoints; and TrustLens, a posture management layer that identifies agents across the enterprise and tracks their behavior inside and outside the security perimeter.
The company’s customers include AirEuropa, Abanca, Iberia, and Banc Sabadell, along with global banks, airlines, energy companies, and government agencies. NeuralTrust said 92% of its customers report annual revenues above $1 billion, with 80% based in Europe and 20% international.
Independent analyst firms have also recognized NeuralTrust across the AI security market. Gartner named the company a Representative Vendor in two Market Guides, KuppingerCole named it a Leader in its 2025 Leadership Compass for Generative AI Defense, and MarketsandMarkets named it a Leader in its 2026 Agentic AI Security Quadrant.
KEY QUOTES:
“AI agents are now part of enterprise operations, but the controls protecting them are still catching up. This round allows us to keep building the infrastructure layer that makes AI adoption measurable, governable, and safe.”
