Nevis: $40 Million Raised As It Emerges From Stealth To Build Wealth Management AI Tools

By Amit Chowdhry ● Dec 2, 2025

Nevis, an AI platform built to automate wealth management workflows, has emerged from stealth with $40 million in total funding after closing a $35 million Series A round led by Sequoia Capital with participation from ICONIQ and Ribbit Capital. The raise comes less than one year after the company’s founding.

The New York–based company develops AI systems that automate end-to-end administrative tasks for financial advisors. Nevis is already supporting several of the fastest-growing Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) in the U.S., serving firms that collectively manage more than $50 billion in client assets. The company said it is rapidly onboarding new customers as demand accelerates.

More than 50 million Americans rely on financial advisors for major life decisions such as retirement planning, education funding, and business building. The number of U.S. households with investable assets of over $500,000 is growing eight times faster than the population, intensifying demand for personalized financial guidance. Yet advisor capacity remains a longstanding bottleneck: advisors often spend up to 80% of their time on administrative work rather than serving clients. Nevis was created to eliminate this friction.

The company’s AI platform supports advisors with tasks ranging from meeting preparation to opening custodian accounts, enabling firms to scale while maintaining highly personalized service. Nevis’s customers range from large national RIAs like United Capital and Apollon Wealth Management to ultra-high-net-worth specialists such as GC Wealth.

Nevis was founded by former Revolut executives Mark Swan (CEO), Philipp Burda (CPO), and Ivan Chalov (COO), who previously helped scale the digital bank to more than 65 million customers.

The Series A follows a $5 million seed round led by Sequoia. As part of the new financing, Sequoia Partner Luciana Lixandru will join the Nevis board. Ribbit Capital — an early investor in fintech leaders such as Robinhood, Nubank, Coinbase, and Revolut — also participated alongside ICONIQ, a global VC and wealth management firm serving ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Nevis builds AI-native infrastructure designed to unify firm data, automate operational workflows, and modernize the advisor experience without relying on legacy systems. The company says its platform enables advisors to spend more time with clients while allowing firms to scale more efficiently than traditional wealth-tech stacks.

KEY QUOTES:

“Nevis is the world’s first AI platform for wealth management. We’re building a future where every financial advisor is supported by an AI platform that can actually complete operational tasks end-to-end. From helping advisors prepare for client meetings to opening custodian accounts, Nevis streamlines the workflows that consume the majority of an advisor’s time. With this level of automation, advisors can focus on what matters most: delivering best-in-class client service and growing their business.”

Mark Swan, CEO of Nevis

“Nevis will completely transform our technology stack, updating it for the future with critical AI-enabled features that will have a meaningful impact on how we do our jobs every day and service clients. Nevis’s approach integrates each of our systems to allow for ease of use and efficiency in all areas of our firm. This will give everyone more time to spend with clients.”

Jim Rivers, President of United Capital

“We’ve explored every so-called ‘AI wealth tech,’ but Nevis stood out for being the real thing, a purpose-built, modern platform reimagining the advisor experience from the ground up. It doesn’t bolt AI onto legacy systems; it uses it to transform how our firm operates. What impressed us most about Nevis was its completeness. Most solutions either try to automate one small part of the process or modernize old software. Nevis felt different — a cohesive, intelligent platform built for the next decade of wealth management.”

Dave Breslin, Executive Vice President of GC Wealth

“We believe wealth managers face a defining opportunity. When AI takes on the operational load, advisors are freed to focus on clients and business growth. To build a generational company in this space takes deep fintech DNA, something Mark, Philipp, and Ivan possess in spades from their time at Revolut. They know what it takes to build with speed and precision and we’re excited to partner with them on their journey to transform wealth management.”

Luciana Lixandru, Partner at Sequoia Capital

“In our view, Nevis is unlocking the true potential wealth management firms can achieve once freed from outdated and fragmented systems. By unifying data and automating the operational backbone, Nevis’ AI-native platform can enable wealth advisors to scale faster than ever before while serving their clients more effectively and operating with far greater efficiency. Building a category-defining company in this space demands significant experience in the fintech space, and Mark, Philipp, and Ivan bring just that from their years working together at Revolut. We believe their product vision and execution discipline set them apart, and we couldn’t be more excited to partner with them as they work to redefine the future of wealth management.”
