New Charter Technologies has appointed Michelle Curtis as chief revenue officer, adding a veteran channel leader to help accelerate growth, deepen client engagement, and formalize a more modern, scalable go-to-market engine. The company, a portfolio business of Oval Partners, said Curtis will oversee all revenue functions and lead the evolution of New Charter’s commercial strategy across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise customers.
In the newly created CRO role, Curtis is tasked with tightening national sales execution while expanding adoption of consulting and advanced services. New Charter also expects her to help ensure the company’s value proposition is delivered consistently across local operating teams and the broader platform, a common priority for IT services platforms that grow through regional presence while aiming to present a unified national experience.
Curtis joins New Charter from Microsoft, where she most recently led the company’s global distribution business supporting a large ecosystem of distribution partners and indirect resellers. New Charter positioned that background as directly relevant to its growth plans, particularly as customers increasingly expect providers to pair local responsiveness with repeatable capabilities such as standardized service delivery, packaged consulting, and a consistent client experience.
Before Microsoft, Curtis held senior roles at Presidio and Tech Data, with experience spanning product marketing, solutions consulting, emerging technologies, and sales leadership across verticals, including healthcare, public sector, and federal. New Charter framed that mix of distribution, services, and solutions leadership as a fit for a CRO mandate that touches not only sales, but also how consultative capabilities are positioned and delivered at scale.
Curtis, for her part, described the move as a return closer to the customer, emphasizing the opportunity to build a differentiated platform that leads with trust and brings modern technology and innovation to businesses facing rising complexity. She also highlighted the importance of execution and follow-through, signaling a focus on the day-to-day client experience alongside broader growth strategy.
