Crossware, a New Zealand-based email signature software provider, has acquired Germany-headquartered CI Solutions GmbH in a multimillion-dollar deal as it looks to deepen its footprint across the European Union.
Crossware said CI Solutions is Germany’s largest email signature provider with an established presence across the EU. With the transaction, the combined group will process more than five million emails per day, positioning the business as one of the larger global providers of cloud-based email signature management for enterprises across Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region.
Crossware Managing Director Troy Adams said the acquisition is intended to accelerate the company’s European expansion while strengthening its ability to deliver compliant, secure, and scalable communication management at enterprise scale. Crossware also said its platform is used on more than 1.8 billion emails annually across 80 countries and represents roughly a 10% share of the global email market.
The company said its email signature management tools integrate with major enterprise ecosystems, including Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange, HCL Domino, and Google Workspace. Crossware positioned email signature software as a growing area of focus for organizations seeking brand consistency, legal compliance, and marketing controls within day-to-day email communications, particularly in heavily regulated environments.
Crossware added that, alongside scale, it expects the combined organization to reinforce its capabilities around data protection and governance to help customers meet regulatory requirements in the EU and other international markets.
