Nexa Equity, a private equity firm specializing in founder-led vertical SaaS companies, announced three senior appointments that expand its investment and operating capabilities following the close of its oversubscribed $390 million Nexa Fund II, bringing total assets under management to more than $1 billion.

Peter Stefanski joins Nexa as a Partner from Thoma Bravo, Blake Shott joins as Principal from Sumeru Equity Partners, and Conor Barber joins as the firm’s fourth dedicated Operating Partner focused on technology and AI. The additions reinforce Nexa’s founder-first approach and strengthen its ability to help software entrepreneurs scale their businesses through operational excellence and AI enablement.

Stefanski brings nearly 15 years of experience partnering with management teams at category-leading software firms, while Shott adds deep expertise in growth software investing and portfolio expansion. Barber will work across Nexa’s portfolio to accelerate AI adoption and efficiency, leveraging his hands-on experience from companies such as Apple and Airbyte.
