NexDash announced that it has received €2.5 million in funding from EIT Urban Mobility to support the expansion of electrified freight operations across Europe.
The pre-Series A funding secures EIT Urban Mobility’s participation in NexDash’s planned Series A financing round. The investment will help NexDash accelerate fleet electrification across its core markets as demand grows for cleaner, more efficient freight transportation.
NexDash said the funding reflects a shared ambition with EIT Urban Mobility to scale zero-emission road freight and prove that sustainable trucking can be commercially viable today. The company is focused on helping logistics operators transition away from diesel-powered transportation while maintaining the reliability and economics required by commercial freight customers.
The partnership also gives NexDash access to EIT Urban Mobility’s pan-European ecosystem, which includes cities, transportation companies, research institutions, investors, and mobility innovators. NexDash said this network can help the company expand its reach, deepen industry partnerships, and accelerate adoption of electrified freight solutions across European markets.
NexDash said the collaboration represents more than capital. The company described EIT Urban Mobility’s involvement as a strategic alignment around the future of urban and regional logistics, where electrification, efficiency, and lower-emission operations are becoming increasingly important.
The investment will support NexDash’s next phase of growth as it continues building momentum in the European logistics market. The company plans to use the funding to strengthen its commercial operations, expand customer deployments, and support the infrastructure and partnerships needed to scale electric freight more broadly.
On NexDash’s side, the round was led by Berit Inga Stranz, VP Sales and Strategic Partnerships, who helped drive the partnership with EIT Urban Mobility.
NexDash said the funding positions the company to continue reshaping how goods move across cities and regions by making freight transportation cleaner, more efficient, and more aligned with Europe’s broader decarbonization goals.
