Nextdoor: Weekly Active Users Reach Record 22.9 Million As Adjusted EBITDA Margin Improves 16 Points

Nextdoor reached an all-time high of 22.9 million Platform Weekly Active Users during the second quarter of 2026 as improving engagement and revenue growth helped drive a 16-percentage-point year-over-year improvement in Adjusted EBITDA margin.

Platform WAU increased 5% year-over-year and rose sequentially for the second consecutive quarter. Nextdoor also generated record quarterly revenue of approximately $75 million, representing 15% year-over-year growth.

The engagement gains were accompanied by substantial operating leverage. Adjusted EBITDA reached $9.5 million, or a 13% margin, compared with a $2.2 million loss and negative 3% margin a year earlier. That represents nearly $12 million of year-over-year Adjusted EBITDA improvement.

GAAP results improved sharply as well. Nextdoor’s net loss narrowed to $2.1 million from $15.4 million, while operating loss declined to $5.7 million from $20.3 million.

Management attributed the improvement to higher contributions from users, improved content, deeper engagement and disciplined expense management. Revenue growth was broad-based across channels.

Nextdoor’s broader network includes more than 110 million verified neighbors. The platform combines local news, safety alerts, recommendations, marketplace listings and events, while businesses, publishers and public agencies use the network to reach local communities.

The company ended the quarter with $378 million of cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities, providing significant liquidity as it continues investing in product engagement and monetization.

Following the Q2 performance, Nextdoor raised its full-year 2026 outlook. The company now expects revenue growth in the low teens and an Adjusted EBITDA margin of approximately 10%. For Q3, Nextdoor expects revenue of $76 million to $78 million and Adjusted EBITDA of $6.5 million to $8 million.
