NexTech Solutions has acquired BOOMSLANG Aerospace, adding unmanned aerial systems and counter-UAS technology to its defense technology platform and marking its fifth acquisition since receiving a strategic investment from Clairvest in 2023.
The transaction closed August 7, 2026, and expands NTS’ capabilities across drone detection, defeat and airborne mission applications.
BOOMSLANG’s technology will be integrated with NTS’ existing modular counter-UAS architecture and products including MANTLE, VidTerra COMPASS and JEFF-K.
The acquired company also brings an engineering team with experience in advanced UAS design and counter-UAS systems.
NTS intends to integrate BOOMSLANG’s MONGOOSE counter-UAS system and broader UAS family into its networked product ecosystem.
The combined organization will focus on supporting the U.S. Department of Defense and other federal government customers with mission-ready systems designed for evolving airspace threats.
NTS has locations in Huntsville, Tampa and Northern Virginia and has spent more than 13 years providing systems engineering, testing, evaluation and operational support for U.S. government missions.
