NextFoods, the parent company of functional nutrition brands Cheribundi and GoodBelly, has closed a $10 million Series 3 funding round led by ECP Growth. The company said the financing will support product innovation, brand expansion, and deeper retail partnerships as demand rises for everyday wellness solutions spanning gut health, muscle recovery, and sleep.

Based in Boulder, Colorado, NextFoods markets “science-backed” functional food and beverage products through its two flagship brands. The company plans to use the new capital to accelerate its innovation roadmap in high-growth wellness categories while scaling national distribution and marketing to broaden brand presence across retail channels.

Marc Seguin, CEO of NextFoods, said the round is designed to help the company move faster on distribution and product development as consumers increasingly prioritize daily health routines. ECP Growth CEO Marcel Bens said the firm views NextFoods as a platform with two established brands and a strong pipeline of new products, positioning it for long-term growth in functional wellness.

Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Boulder, NextFoods said its products are sold nationwide in more than 20,000 retailers and online, with adoption among both elite athletes and mainstream consumers.
