NextGen Healthcare has appointed Anthony Palladino as Chief Financial Officer, adding a veteran software finance executive with more than 30 years of financial and operational leadership experience.
Palladino joins NextGen Healthcare from Thoma Bravo, where he served as an Operating Partner. In that role, he worked with leadership teams across the private equity firm’s software portfolio to strengthen financial operations, improve operating efficiency, and support profitable growth.
Before Thoma Bravo, Palladino served as Chief Financial Officer of Elemica, a private equity-backed cloud-based digital supply network serving global process industries. He led Elemica’s finance organization during a period of accelerated growth and value creation.
At NextGen Healthcare, Palladino will work with President and CEO Srinivas “Sri” Velamoor and the company’s broader leadership team as the healthcare technology provider continues expanding its cloud-based software platform for ambulatory care organizations.
NextGen Healthcare said Palladino’s experience across finance, software-as-a-service businesses, private equity, and healthcare gives him a strong foundation for the role. His prior work with NextGen Healthcare during his time at Thoma Bravo also gives him existing familiarity with the company, its customers, and its operations.
As CFO, Palladino is expected to help strengthen the company’s financial organization while supporting operational efficiency, product innovation, and sustainable growth.

Palladino holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance from Drexel University and an MBA from Pennsylvania State University.
His appointment comes as NextGen Healthcare continues investing in its leadership team and operating platform as the company seeks to expand its role in ambulatory healthcare technology.
