NFP Acquires Moores Insurance Management To Expand Twin Cities Risk Capital Business

NFP, an Aon company, has acquired Minneapolis-based Moores Insurance Management, expanding its property and casualty capabilities for high-net-worth individuals and commercial clients in Minnesota.

Moores is a multidisciplinary risk management firm that has served clients since 1987 and works with high-net-worth individuals and businesses across 43 states.

Mark Moores, CEO of Moores, will join NFP as Senior Vice President of Commercial P&C and report to Amanda Ruback, Managing Director of P&C for NFP’s Central region.

Jack Moores, President of Moores, will become Senior Vice President of Personal Lines and report to Mary Mullen, Senior Vice President of Personal Risk for the Central region.

The acquisition adds a long-established Minnesota insurance business to NFP’s platform while broadening its relationships with affluent households and business owners.

Moores brings expertise across both personal and commercial risk, allowing NFP to deepen its ability to serve clients whose insurance requirements may span businesses, homes and other complex assets.

NFP provides property and casualty insurance, employee benefits, life insurance, executive benefits, wealth management and retirement plan advisory services.

The company operates across the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Ireland and gains additional global capabilities through parent company Aon.

The acquisition strengthens NFP’s Central-region platform while providing Moores clients access to a broader range of insurance and advisory resources.
