NG.CASH Raises $15 Million Led By Blockchain Capital, Bringing Total Funding To Over $65 Million

NG.CASH, a Brazilian financial technology company serving younger consumers, has raised $15 million in strategic financing led by Blockchain Capital, bringing its total funding since its founding in 2021 to more than $65 million. The investment will support the company’s continued expansion into consumer credit and digital financial services as it grows its platform, which now serves more than 10 million users.

Based in São Paulo, NG.CASH originated in the creator economy as an extension of a YouTube channel that had approximately 10 million subscribers in 2021. That audience has since doubled to 20 million subscribers, while NG.CASH has developed into a financial platform with more than 10 million accounts.

The company’s growth has centered on younger Brazilians, particularly consumers from middle- and lower-income households who have historically had limited access to traditional financial services.

According to NG.CASH, many customers come from families in which their parents have never held bank accounts. For some users, the platform represents their first financial account and, in certain cases, the first account opened by anyone in their family.

NG.CASH combines a digitally native consumer experience with an expanding portfolio of financial services designed to support users as their financial needs develop.

The company has increasingly focused on credit products, including Crédito CLT and Pix Crédito, as it expands beyond basic financial accounts and payment services.

NG.CASH is targeting BRL 1 billion, equivalent to nearly $200 million, in credit originations by 2027. Since its founding, the platform has processed billions of dollars in transactions.

The company’s regulatory infrastructure includes two licenses from the Central Bank of Brazil: a direct credit society license and a payment institution license. It has also submitted an application for a Virtual Asset Service Provider license, which remains under review.

The pending authorization is relevant to NG.CASH’s longer-term interest in stablecoins and cryptocurrencies. Its existing distribution network and established relationships with younger consumers could provide an opportunity to introduce digital asset services to a substantial Brazilian customer base, subject to applicable regulatory approvals.

For Blockchain Capital, the transaction represents an investment in a consumer financial platform operating in one of Latin America’s largest markets.

The financing will support NG.CASH as it works to broaden access to credit and expand its financial services ecosystem while pursuing its longer-term digital asset strategy.
