By Amit Chowdhry ● Today at 10:18 AM

Nimonik has acquired LegiNation, the owner of U.S. legislative and regulatory tracking platform BillTrack50. The transaction officially closed on July 31, 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition combines Nimonik’s global regulatory and standards compliance management platform with BillTrack50’s real-time tracking of state and federal legislation and regulations across the United States.

Nimonik said the combination expands its regulatory data capabilities and gives customers a more comprehensive view of legislative and regulatory developments across all 50 states alongside its existing international compliance coverage.

Nimonik and LegiNation have worked together for more than a decade, and the companies expect their combination to create additional opportunities around AI data development and customer success.

LegiNation will continue operating independently under the BillTrack50 brand. Founder Karen Suhaka will remain President, and the company’s existing team will stay in place.

BillTrack50 enables organizations to search, track, and manage legislation at the state and federal levels. Its coverage spans all 50 U.S. states and Congress and includes custom alerts, scorecards, and reporting tools.

Nimonik has more than 55 experts across Canada, the U.S., France, China, and Dubai and serves more than 1,400 customers in industries including manufacturing, extractive industries, and services.
